“Beautiful view. Getting there was a nightmare because the roads were blocked and it took hours to have the police finally let us in with our luggage. Parking was blocks away. We would highly recommend the paid parking garage, it was still a hike but at least we felt the car was safe, and only 15 EUR a day. Breakfast was always the same, and a walk across the plaza to get to - but it was good. ”

“Great stay. Very cute town. Stayed one night. Had great dinner and breakfast at hotel restaurant. Rooms are pretty, curated by artists. Property premises very nice - be on the lookout for wild peacocks! Clean rooms and bathroom. Excellent customer service by Alinha at front desk - very welcoming and friendly. The family room was great for our family of 4 - lots of stairs, but it is Europe after all. AC units in each room!! ”

“This was a great little spot for my initial visit to Portugal. Centrally located, super clean, excellent customer service. I did not opt for the breakfast option so I can’t speak to that, but I did appreciate how sweet the breakfast area was, and all of the variety of options available to those who might choose them. Everyone with whom I came in contact was polite and respectful and helpful, impressively so. I would definitely visit again, however, I would ask for a room on the top floor……

“Alexandra is a perfect host. Amazing what they did with this old building to turn it in a wonderful cosy hotel. Great access to the beach and center of Santa Cruz. The best: coming back at end of day and take a dip in the heated pool to relax before going to sleep. Wish we had stayed longer!”

“Beautiful place to stay. Fantastic building and setting. It was off-season for the pool but it looked fantastic. Great breakfast and location. Minutes to Torres Vedras and Obidos and less than an hour to Lisbon. We hope to stay there again in the near future.”
