“the house is nice and is exactly as described on the website but there are things that did not work properly and that should for the price we paid (high season being in August), and that we reported to the owner as well. The most important is the electrical panel that was defective (several of us received slight electric shocks, especially in the kitchen), a single key to open and close the house (being a house for 8 people, the management is complicated), the cooker fire very weak, the shower……

“The perfect location to relax while visiting many sites in the area. Quinta Mota II was clean, comfortable, quiet, had everything we needed, and the backyard and salt pool was incredible. From this location it is a short drive to the beach and many sites, we visited Obidos, Alcobaca, Batalha, and several beaches. And then returned for swim and a peaceful quiet nights sleep. “Hübsches rustikales Ferienhaus, komplett privater, nicht einsehbarer aber etwas kleiner Garten mit kleinem sauberem Pool zum abkühlen. Auto kann gesichert im abschließbaren Innenhof abgestellt werden, Platz für nur ein PKW, vor dem Haus keine Abstellmöglichkeit. Zufahrt etwas sportlich durch kleine enge Gassen😁. Lage zentral in kleinem Dörfchen, aber dennoch mehreren Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in kleinen lokalen Geschäften, insgesamt sehr angenehm untouristisch. Fahrtzeit zur nächsten Stadt Lourinha……

“Hemos pasado una semana muy agradable en la casa de los abuelos. Joao Pedro nos recibió obsequiándonos un pan y un chorizo locales. Muy hospitalario y amable. La casa dispone de todo lo necesario destacando una piscina rodeada de cesped estupenda! También hay una magnífica barbacoa y aparcamiento dentro de la propiedad. Las playas están a 10-15 minutos en coche. No perderse el "Atelier do doce". Está situado a un par de kilómetros de la casa y hacen unos dulces maravillosos”

“We had a wonderful 2 day stay at the Mill House near Santa Cruz. Carla and her family were incredibly welcoming, generous and warm people. Right after check in we got a tour of the farm that is part of the property and her husband gave us samples of some things they grow there. Carla, her husband and daughter were extremely helpful and responsive to any little issues that came up. I would highly recommend this property to anyone planning a visit to the area and especially families that can take……
