“I enjoyed my stay at this hotel so much. It’s small, meaning it’s quiet and not crowded with people but has a great pool area and gym like a bigger hotel. The room was new and modern with lots of great features. Location was great, very close to the municipal airport and short drives to water taxis. An area with bars and restaurants was just a short walk away. What really makes this hotel stand out is the people. Ahead of time Laura and Julia were very helpful messaging about what to expect……

“Fort George Hotel and Spa was such a nice place to end our trip before heading home. The hotel is new and modern, we stayed in the oceanfront room, which only just opened last month, and everything was clean, spacious, and it was quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. “My husband and I walked from the water taxi to the Great House Inn - hot but less than 8 minutes (with our luggage), so appreciated the location. Reception was on 2nd floor, but as soon as we got there, an attendant took all our luggage up. Receptionist was awesome and SUPER helpful. “The hotel had very little to no amenities. They had filtered water in the community kitchen. The room had a refrigerator and cable tv. The bed was comfortable. “We went as a group of 3 girls. The hotel was comfortable and the balcony provided a beautiful view. Free wifi and toiletries for use. “Nice, typically rustic Belize style resort. Everyone working there that we interacted with was friendly. Very few rooms occupied the two nights we were there (5 rooms the second night and less than that the first night it seemed), which was good in some ways but not great for the resort. It seems they don't use dynamic pricing because I would have stayed another night if the price wasn't so much higher for the Saturday night stay even though I was told they only had 10 rooms booked for……
