“I booked this stay to celebrate my birthday with friends, and I would do it again in a heartbeat! The location was great. Close enough to everything but far enough out to enjoy the sounds of nature and view the stars at night! The dome was awesome! “A perfect weekend getaway to celebrate our 35th anniversary! I’ve been wanting to stay in a geodome. It was so cool! Everything was lovely, very clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and well-appointed. We loved the covered outdoor area with soaking tub and campfires. Great trails nearby for hiking. “My husband had a work conference at the Grand Traverse Resort and we decided to turn it into a long-weekend in TC with our family of 5 and 2 dogs (kids aged 7-11). The location of this property was perfect - only about 8 min drive to downtown, 3-4 min to Toms grocery (even closer to Costco), and 8 min to the resort for his meetings. “My wife and I were looking for a quiet place near a lake with a short easy walk to the water. That is exactly what we found at the Stillwater Cottage. The house is beautiful and much larger that we needed for just the two of us. Everything in the house is in great shape and we found it very relaxing. “The house was clean and had plenty of kitchen amenities. I was expecting more in the bathroom/shower (shampoo, etc.) but it wasn’t a big deal since we had brought our own. I must not have read the description very closely since I wasn’t aware that the house did not have air conditioning or a TV in the main living area (although I believe the A/C was mentioned in the listing). “The cabin was perfect for a quiet, relaxing getaway! It was very clean and comfortable. We loved that we could walk through the property down to the lake and to the downtown Northport area as well. Cheryl was a great host. She quickly answered any questions that I had and gave me some great recommendations on places to visit in the area. We would definitely stay here again.”
