The group before us were not respectful to the home which resulted in a damaged laundry machine, but the host made sure we had appropriate accommodations and made sure everything was still a very smooth and enjoyable stay. ”

The lodge has everything you would expect of a log cabin in the woods - huge comfortable furniture, beautiful fireplaces, very comfortable beds --- PLUS this is sprawling. There was more than enough for our family group. On several nights, with windows open (yes they are screened) several in our group heard owls hooting and attests to the remoteness of the place.
