“The house was perfect for our family vacation! It’s often so hard to find something big enough for family to have enough space and this house was great! Also so helpful that it was dog friendly. Easy communication with the host. Only recommendation- if you’re sensitive to the taste of tap water, might want to bring some drinking water with you! ”

The cottage was nicely decorated and looks to have been updated recently. Gaining access was very easy and customized to us. The owner, Ben, was very responsive to our needs. “Gwen and Andrew’s cabin was a perfect place to unwind and watch the beauty of the lake by morning, noon and night. It was very tidy, clean and very well thought out for the cozy space inside, with plenty of seating areas outside to move yourself with the sun throughout the day. They kindly offered use of their canoe to explore the peacefully quiet lake and fishing in the coves. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back again to rejuvenate in this peaceful place! ”

“Rebekkah's place is great. We were in town to visit my husband's uncle. This house is well located. It's very comfortable and it was very clean. There were all kinds of great, welcoming touches. Coffee, some breakfast items including farm fresh eggs - which my husband loves - and a well-stocked kitchen! The proximity to Bangor and the surrounding area is very good. We would definitely look forward to staying again if we were in the area. ”

“Loved it. It was just as described. Clean, well stocked with everything you need for a secluded Maine lakefront getaway. Close enough to Acadia but yet far enough away from the world to truly get away from it all. We will definitely return again.”

“We had a wonderful time staying at your lake house with a family of 2 adults and two 12 year old boys. We had plenty of swimming, fishing, and kayaking in the beautiful clean lake. Having firewood available made for a relaxing and easy evening for making fire and eating s'mores. We all really enjoyed A1 relics antique shop for one of our rainy day. we just love the sound of the loons and the sensational sky view. The host, Josh, was available and responsive to any questions I had during my trip.……

"The hotel is located inside the University of Maine campus, which is quiet, safe, and has convenient parking. The rooms seem to be converted from student dormitories, so the layout is different from typical hotels. The bathroom in my room was exceptionally large, almost at a luxury mansion level, and the bed was also big. The room was clean with high ceilings, but there was no desk available for use, which was somewhat inconvenient."
