“This cabin was a wonderful base for exploring the western UP. The cabin was more than enough for the two of us and our dog, it could easily host a family. The cabin was very comfortable and the sauna is a fantastic extra touch. We happened to visit during a heat wave but were happy to discover the air conditioning works great. We would definitely rent this cabin again if we need a place to stay in this area in the future!”

“We had a nice stay at the Campfire Lodge. It had everything we needed for our stay. We felt comfortable and cozy all weekend and enjoyed the hot tub while watching the snow fall. Very close to the slopes and no issues arose with the property.”

“The pace was great! Relaxing and so close to the ski resort and to be honest better than the ski resort conditions as we stayed there two weeks to this stay! It was easy to relax after a long day of skiing and hop in the sauna for some added relaxation and recovery. Being able to make our own food was helpful as the grocery stores are not far at all so you can stick in while there! It was secluded but not too secluded :) would def stay again!”

“My partner and I planned a quick birthday celebration getaway. The property was as described and very enjoyable. We found it to be quiet but not too remote. We loved the fireplace and the cozy vibe. It’s immediately apparent a lot of care, planning and love went into the home. The proximity to the Porcupine Mountains is perfect. There are so many options for destinations for day trips as well. We loved it and hope to come back sometime soon. Highly recommend!”
