“The house was beautiful and exceptionally clean and located in the perfect place for checking out all the local sites. One note - there are quite a few steps up to the residence that we didn't expect that were a bit of a challenge for an older person in the group that has trouble walking. Still a great time was had by all!”

“The house needs a little TLC, but overall it was okay if you’re not too picky. Other than that, it’s as described. One thing that I didn’t expect was the sound of the nearby road when you’re trying to sleep. That is personal preference and it may not bother you. Maxx was easy to contact and responsive. ”

“Brought the family, stayed 3 nights. Home was exceptional, views were amazing, host very responsive. We would highly recommend this place, and hope to go back sometime.”

“I’ve been under a lot of stress lately with losing my mom. I was looking for a relaxing place to spend with my daughters and new grandson and this place fit the bill. Very clean and perfect location to shopping and restaurants. This house had everything we needed and then some. A lot of attention to detail was given. Will stay here again! ”

“The place was great for kids. It has plenty for all age kids to do. The host was very good at getting back to us and taking care of our requests as soon as possible. Driving up to the property isn’t very pleasant because it is not mowed in the front so it makes you wonder about the house. The house could use some upkeep done to it, like it's missing draw pulls in the kitchen and the yard, when mowed, wiuld have been great if the grass would have been bagged so the hrass wasn’t tracked into the……

“Cute little house and well stocked with the "little necessary" things. Would stay again. ”

“The location of this home was amazing. We love the outdoors so this was perfect. We had fire each evening with the provided wood and dinner on the patio. We will definitely be back in September for our next hunt. ”

“This was a great house for our friends trip! Clean rooms and shared spaces, easy walking distance to the main part of town, in a safe area. The bedrooms did take a bit of thought to navigate sleeping arrangements (one tucked in the basement, one on the main floor, one on the top floor accessed only walking through another bedroom.) It worked out perfectly for us, just to note if families or couples want to consider the layout. The house has historic charm and we were so grateful to have found……

“Beautiful on the inside and out. Inside is filled with beautifully crafted wooden pieces and very clean. Outside is a stunning view of the countryside. We were able to go to various locations easily from the Holmes with a View. ”

“Our stay here was great. The cabin was clean, well stocked, and decorated beautifully. The location was great. You were far enough to be in the country but close enough to hit all the major shops and attractions easily. The fishing in the pond kept our kids busy during any down time. We will definitely be back and greatly enjoyed our stay.”
