“Overall, house was clean & beds were comfortable. Bathroom was stock with basic necessities like toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash & hand soap. Dining room chairs need updating though. “My daughter was receiving an award and needed space since we were traveling in from Dallas with family. The house is lovely, checkin and communication was good. Plenty of space, perfect for what we needed. Two things to note. Sofa in living room needs to be replaced, back has no support. There is no privacy door for the forth bedroom, open. Lawn could have been mowed for better drive up appeal. Neighborhood was nice, quiet safe .I would rent sgain...but needs”

“Overall nice place. People working there seemed very nice. Wife wanted a tv to watch as she usually does in the evening. Breakfast was not cooked or served. They put bacon and eggs in refrigerators but you could not cook inside. Outside cooking availability. Seemed a bit overpriced for one night. Cleaning fee of 85.00 seemed extreme since we left it as when we arrived. Doubt if we will return.”

“Several friends traveled for a local event and shared this house. It was very comfortable and well appointed. It is clear that the home was renovated and decorated carefully. The host, Danina, provided many extras such as two robes in each bedroom, toiletries in case someone forgot something, cookies and bottled water. The kitchen is very well equipped and has brand new appliances. We highly recommend this property if you are visiting the East Texas/WestLouisiana area.”

“This was hands down the most affordable and relaxing get away . We are a fishing family and they had plenty of fish for us to catch. Ms flood had everything you need to be comfortable . Plenty of space. The plus was the TVs she had in each room to really make it home away from home and private if it more guest in the house. The extra fishing poles came in handy as well . thank you Ms flood. Everything was perfect !!”

“We had a great stay at Captain's Cabin. We were looking for a place on Sabine Lake that had great access to our favorite fishing spots and Captain's Cabin suited our needs perfectly. The house and yard were very clean and well appointed. There was ample room for parking and the area is safe and extremely quiet. David, the property owner ,was extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend Captain's Cabin to anyone. ”

“The house was lovely, the yard needed mowing badly. Was disappointed the yard was not fenced. We thought a pet friendly property would have a fenced yard. The neighborhood was awful. We tried to not go out at night. Neighbors had large groups of people outside almost all the time they played loud vulgar music. The yard had little cockle burrs bad. They got into our little 6 pound senior dogs fur so bad we had to take him to the animal er to get them out on Saturday.”
