“Adorable Tiny Digs! We thought we’d give it a try. Cute tiny trailers built and decorated into tiny themed rooms. Just a different “little” experience for a one night stay near the Hawthorne neighborhood in Portland. Lots of cute little PROs and not too many CONs. PROs; Our tiny digs (Merlot) was clean, cute, very comfortable. You’re in a locked, fully fenced, secure lot in case you’re worried about that. Tons of great restaurants around in walking distance. “I really enjoyed my time at the KEX hotel! The rooms were kept nice and the bedding was so good. (I stayed in a shared room) The bathroom was clean, the food was good, the drinks were good! “From the moment I arrived, I felt welcome. The lobby was clean, the attendant was cordial and he was sensitive to my aura. The car rental (Thrifty) was horrendous, my reserved car was 2.5 hours late however, my late arrival at hotel was met with concern and calmness. The room was just what I wanted, quiet, peaceful, and CLEAN! I will definitely stay here again when visiting Portland:)”

“Front door was locked and we had to wait outside for someone to come check us in. Nice bedding. Great coffee. Both window shades in our room were broken…so pretty dark in there. Paid parking had to be managed every two hours during the day. All in all, it was an OK experience, but not as nice as I had hoped.”
