“Great stay for our family vacation ”

“We had such a wonderful time kayaking in hidden alcoves on the lake, cruising around on the pontoon boat, and enjoying a beautiful view while toasting marshmallows over the campfire. The house was beautiful, quiet, and super clean. The beds were comfortable and the inside temperature was wonderfully cool. The fridge had plenty of space. The bunk bed setup was absolutely charming. It was the perfect gathering place for a few friends and family to get together. We would definitely recomend this……

“1st vacation in years for "us Grandparents". Honestly, just looking towards the western sunset made our stay excellent. My wife and I only drove a couple of hours for this stay and we would have traveled much further (if needed). Overall, it felt like a home (away from home) for us. The time flew by very fast & that helps explain how our time was very enjoyable. We liked feeling so welcome, right from the start. We had a chance to enjoy water (right out the back door)... “It was pleasant. Very quiet and wonderful view of the lake. Excellent fishing. I had a few things that required online access to complete, so I selected a locations that listed wifi. Unfortunately the wifi was extremely slow so U had a hard time sending email. That said if you want a remote spot where you feel left alone to fish, this is great. Most people do not rent a lake cabin for the internet access though...”

“The cottage provided us everything we needed. It was easy to get in and out and the owner was very responsive to requests. I have not had a gas stove since I was a kid living at home and I found that cooking on it was like riding a bike. It gave me a bit of nostalgia as well.The location was great for us. Close to town, and to our own cottage that is currently gutted. Also easy drive into the Lake James/Jimmerson area - which of course you need to arrive to Tom's Donuts early if you don't……

“The house is cute with a great view of the lake. We spendt time eating on the patio and enjoying the view. There were good restaurants not too far away, and a Dollar General that we had to run to for some things. The check-in and check-out process was so easy.”

“We enjoyed our stay! The owner was very responsive to my inquiries on VRBO. The views from the cabin were stunning and the lake was accessible for our kayaks with the dock. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay and providing us with a great and relaxing family weekend!”
