“Exceeded expectations!”

“Very peaceful property in a quiet neighborhood. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Had a nice lake view from both levels of the house. House had lots of room - bedrooms were big! Nice open concept from kitchen, dining and living room. 3 big tvs but we never turned them on. Would like to come back someday. We visited Shipshewana and drive was about 18 minutes away, so not bad at all.”

“We stayed in early April and were greeted with an array of wildlife the Duck's and Geese were all over the lake as well as two beautiful swan's, we also saw a heron and a beaver near the dock. It was a great getaway and we look forward to staying again!”

“Delicious cookies were on counter. Host was gracious enough to call us and we had early check-in which was a nice surprise. ”

“Was a beautiful location near multiple fishing lakes. With the kayaks and the boat really madeIt a wonderful fishing experience. We caught blue gill, bass, bowfin, and many catfish. The owner Charley was extremely friendly and accommodating. We will be back in the summer. ”

“Perfect getaway for my book club anniversary weekend. Everything was pretty much as stated. Only thing was one of the bedrooms wasn't really a bedroom. There were plenty of beds so we made due. We would consider staying again. in warmer months. ”

“We had our family Christmas get at the house. Big kitchen made meal prep easy. Beautiful swans still swimming in the lake (in December)”

“ Property is a nice, comfortable home. However, it advertises it sleeps 8 with a pull out couch. The couch is old and worn and had no sheets to make it into a bed. Cleanliness could be improved. When you show up, be sure you have every item you need such as sugar, coffee, paper products and water. You cannot use the tap water in the appliances. Bring a bag of ice as there is no ice maker. The photo in advertising is not what you see when looking for the home. This is a lake facing image. The……

“We had a wonderful stay at this spacious, clean, and well maintained property. It is centrally located just a quick few minutes to the main shopping area in Shipshewana. Beds were comfortable, with a total of 6 bedrooms. There were lots of entertainment options with the pool table, ping pong, hot tub and whole house speaker system. Communication with the owners was top notch. We also enjoyed the small touches like the fresh bread and jam on the counter and throw blankets. I highly recommend this……

“Not enough parking. Had two trucks. Snow was not removed at the front door and side walk. ”

“We had a group of 12 stay for a long ice fishing and had a great time. We stay somewhere different in Michigan every year. The pool table was a hit when we would come in off the ice. Nice big house with plenty of sleeping room for everybody. We all enjoyed our stay and would not mind going back again sometime, whether it’s summer or winter. ”
