“This June was our third family vacation at La Marina lake house. We spent a lot of time in the water, caught fish, took walks over to Osoyoos Lake Veteran's Memorial Park (where the boat ramp is), visited a few vintage/thrift shops in Oroville, walked across the street to get our morning beverages at Salted 1940 cafe, made several trips across the street to Akins Foods - a pretty amazing grocery store with an Organic section! This is such a delightful piece of property and house to relax and……

“We had a fun girls trip. Very clean accommodation's. The view is amazing! We sat outside and watched the deer across the way. The kitchen had everything we needed. A very unique place to stay. Quiet and relaxing. Communication with Zachary was excellent. You have to take the short hike to the top of the dome and get the full effect of the view! Oh, and our first night we listened to LP’s on the record player. That was a fun surprise! I plan on returning for a get away with my husband.”

“We loved our stay at this cozy cabin on Curlew Lake. Everything you could possibly need for your stay is provided. The beds and seating are really comfortable. The location is excellent. We enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the lake (there is an eagle's nest directly across the lake on a little island), we kayaked with the provided kayaks and did a lot of biking on the Ferry County Rail Trail, which is adjacent to the property. The owner, Theresa, was friendly and answered any and all……

“Everything was clean and as described. We had a bumpy check in as HOA office was closed and our key was not taped to door. But agent was reachable and had a plan b to get us in. Lots of thoughtful provisions and plenty of towels. We would love to return!”

Located on the river on the edge of town, we were able to get everywhere we wanted to go quickly and easily - whether it was the store, the home of our son, or the wineries of BC just across the border.
