“A friend and I planned a weekend of outdoor winter hiking. This was a great place to make home base. Lots of space, clean, plenty of places to eat nearby, hot water, good shower pressure, tv reception, large table, chairs on small patio, washer and dryer. We didn’t need to use all of it, but if we had a longer stay or came with our family this would accommodate everyone. ”

“The location, space and surrounding were good but there were bugs including a wasp in one of the rooms which the management took time to come and clean up”

“Very nice property, only one thing that was disappointing was the Jacuzzi didn't work. Everything else was excellent ”

“This property was admittedly large for our needs, but everything else in the area was booked up, so we splurged. And we are glad that we did! It was exactly as described: remote, woodsy, and quiet. Just what we needed. The woodburning stove was the cherry on the top! Instructions for its use were clear and concise, right down to the sound of that the flue makes when opening. It was details like this that made our stay special.”

“We had a wonderful two night stay at the Apache cabin. The location was quiet, safe and secluded and we enjoyed the peace. The state parks are a short drive away. We’d love to come back in the summer! ”

“My daughter and I stayed at this tiny house for a girls' getaway and hiking weekend. The space itself was small and minimalist, which we expected and enjoyed for the most part. The records and board games were a thoughtful touch, adding a bit of charm and entertainment to our stay. The community was charming, and I could see it being very bustling in the summer. “Great little place. We stayed early in the week to hike starved rock so there was not a lot of action in the resort. We were a little bummed the blind wouldn’t stay up in the loft and there was no needle on the record player. That’s not enough to keep me from giving it a good review though. Would stay again. ”
