“My family and I rented this property for our wedding reception, as well as a mini vacation afterwards. The property and house itself is absolutely beautiful and very spacious. The owner was very welcoming and showed us all about the location. We were a little surprised by the extra guest fees and the lack of privacy. Staff walked on to the property during our stay, and due to the lack of window coverings we felt a bit watched. The owner also stays on site in a smaller house right next door,……

“This is rooming house accommodation. While the property was clean, I misunderstood the listing. I thought it was a kitchenette suite. Bathrooms are shared; kitchen is shared. Sleeping rooms are very small. It was quiet, the other guests were very respectful, and the manager was responsive and thoughtful. The name is a bit misleading, as there is not much heritage left in the old house. The location is convenient to the O-train at uOttawa, and buses; it is in a nice old neighbourhood full of……
