It s located well outside Kandy and which was great after the visit of Kandy town with all the traffic and noises. Coming back to the hotel was so relaxing . The room is quite big and very clean. “Sehr schönes Hotel in einer alten Teefabrik. Herausragend war die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Das Essen war herrvorragend und die Zimmer sehr sauber. Wir bekamen eine Führung in der Teefabrik wo uns der Teeprozess erklärt und gezeigt wurde. Auch eine Wanderung wurde angeboten. Alles in allem nur zu empfehlen!! Bei der Hinfahrt ist es besser nach dem Weg zu fragen. Google maps führt woanders hin. ”

“My fiance and I stayed at the Hotel for my birthday. The Hotel provided a free upgrade to us and prepared a birthday cake for me at breakfast! A total surprise! Impressive! There are a range of tours which you may join at the Hotel - and we picked the tea plucking class which we enjoyed very much. The surrounding environment is unbeatable - with leveled tea fields surrounding the Hotel. Would very much like to come back for another stay!”

“酒店的整体景观很漂亮。距离市中心有一点距离，但是却落得安静。我们被安排在后面的一个WING，面向后山，距离大堂要走很长的路，因此没有什么噪声。但是采光和景观稍逊一些。房间尺寸比较大。竟然没有烧水壶，联系客房后提供给我们。卫生间镜子正对着卧室。游泳池在阳光下很舒适。酒店员工没有那么热情。如果有车出行，那么在这里可以考虑在这里休整。”

“除了用餐准备时间太长外，几乎无可挑剔。不知道为什么会把酒店名翻译成“象牙”，太误导了。这是奥利芬家族私邸改建的酒店。酒店很多基础设施，都有150年历史。即便新配置的家具，多半也是安装殖民时期的风格配置的，所以一走进酒店就有穿越到十九世纪的感觉。入住当天只有我们一行5人，所以两个管家服务的很周到。只是用餐准备的时间太长，从点餐到上前餐花了一个多小时时间，因为现点现做，后厨只有一个厨师和帮手的原因。这难免引起我们的不快，我们的不满弄得两位管家很紧张，反而让我们有些心不安。晚餐虽然准备时间很长，但做的很地道，于是把不满化作感谢，大家皆大欢喜。”

“整體來說很出色，早餐也很豐盛，不過我們住的 711 房冷氣無法控溫，所以晚上睡覺時覺得很冷，另外感覺地板很薄隔音很差，我們入住的第二個晚上三更半夜樓上不斷傳來腳步聲與他們製造的一堆噪音讓人很難入睡，除此之外沒什麼好挑剔的。”

“Locate on the peak of the mountain, have to drive a very narrow way to the top, too many insects in the room otherwise it was perfect experience, shower is wide and super nice, staffs are very friendly and helpful, great view of the valley, worth every penny.”
