“Came to town to visit senior son at MTU - started moving home some of his stuff. Great apartment right in the heart of town. Quick walking access to shops, restaurants and paths. ”

“Immediately upon walking in, my boyfriend & I adored the fun decor & MI rock collection. The kitchen was well equipped with utensils, the bed was super comfortable, & the building location was fantastic! (Just minutes from several local cross-country ski tracks & some of my favorite rock hounding locations!) The only issue we ran across is that the shower likely needs replacing. But overall, really enjoyed our stay & we hope to be back in the future!”

“This property is located above the hardware store which was a benefit to me since I was here working. It is also within blocks of a grocery store, gas station and restaurant. It has 4 bedrooms and can house a lot of guests and was less expensive than any hotel/motel in the area. It has a full kitchen and nice big screen Smart TV in the living room which allowed me to link my streaming service during stay. ”

“We loved this apartment! It is super clean and very modern. Our family of 4 was very comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect and convenient to everything downtown Houghton. Our son is a freshman at Michigan Tech so it was great to be so close he could walk down to see us at his convenience. There are so many great restaurants within walking distance. The host gave great details for parking, location and checking in. We will definitely be back! Thanks for hosting us!”

“We were moved to another apartment last minute as the owner over booked. New place was nice but not quite finished in my opinion. No curtains, mirror not attached to wall in bathroom, no toilet paper holder, no end tables, no condiments for the coffee they had, front door had no cover at all- could see strait in the whole place. ”

“When it came time to make lodging reservations we knew where we would stay again. This little over the garage apartment is so cute and well appointed! It’s perfect for our family’s ski weekend. ”

“I lived in Houghton for 28 years. We recently moved, but have a daughter attending Michigan Tech. This location is absolutely perfect when coming back. We could walk anywhere downtown. We had dedicated parking right out back. The unit was beautiful. We will definitely stay when we come back up if available.”
