You feel relaxation setting in as soon as you drive up the gravel hill driveway and approach the welcoming entrance. I want to stay here every time we visit our daughter at SUNY Covleskill! ”

“We were looking for a quiet, peaceful, lakefront cottage and Firefly Lodge delivered. We enjoyed coffee on the dock every morning and were joined by the ducks and loons. The highlight for us was watching the supermoon rise over the lake. It seemed like you could reach out and touch it. The owners were great and made sure we had no problems. We hope to be able to visit again”

“We left the property and started refund process within just a couple of hours of arriving. Exterior of House looks nothing like the photos online: Grass was not mowed, trash was on the front porch, paint was chipping, chairs were broken and taped together, back door to house was unlocked. Interior was no better; shower floors and walls were rusty, bath mats were wet and soiled, freezer had dried blood on the interior, beds did not appear to be freshly made with clean sheets since previous……

“1890s Elegant mansion with great bones and almost completely restored. Pool would be big plus in summer and game room definitely a plus, though some equipment needed repair. Great location for our short family reunion of 6 adults and 3 tweens. Would worry about kids less than 10 or limited mobility folks as stairs quite tight or spirally and high. Does have first floor bedroom but a bit of distance to the single well appointed bath on that floor. Kitchen quite well equipped and even had a wide……

“Our Son has a Camp on Canada Lake and just loves this area - his camp was full with the grooms men and the brides mades rented Pine Lake Lodge which was also the venue we rented a huge tent and had a great caterer - 200 people - your HOME was wonderful I had my 80 year old parents, my other daughter and her fiance and another daugther in the house and we couldn't ask for a more beautiful place to stay. The accomdations were wonderful, the house was greatly appointed and we wanted for nothing……
