“We stayed in this hotel for three days while we explored Kandy. The hotel itself is set in a beautiful serene. There is a high level of attention to detail with the rooms, everything has been carefully considered. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is outside of the city, the hotel is more than happy to arrange transport to and from the centre at short notice. The food is cooked to order and tasted delicious. Would highly recommend this hotel.”

“When you arrive the door opens to a magnificent view of the pool and the river behind it. The staff was great, the food was probably our favorite during the first part of our trip. Would highly recommend this place. Make sure to visit the Temple of the Tooth and try out some local fruits!”

“We loved our stay at this resort. The drive up was pretty intense as it’s out the way, so we didn’t spend loads of time in the accommodation but wow the views were incredible morning & evening looking out to the river!! “It is my second stay at Galavilla. I love this place so much. I was happy that the hotel is well developt. I feel as a home. The morning view form the room is realy breathtaking. “Very neat place to stay, up a cliff overlooking the river and large Buddha up in the hills. We had a family suite with two large bathrooms, two bedrooms, two balconies and incredible view.
