“We liked the vintage vibes and the property was well take care of. Pool and hot tub were pretty well maintained and having a private back patio area was also a plus. A little bit of a walk to the downtown core district. There was a musty smell in the room but that did clear up after a couple days and keeping windows open. AC worked well but was a little loud. Pack tight if possible as there are two small nightstands. Overal we had a pretty positive experience on a unique property.”

“What we liked: Front desk staff friendly & helpful. Quiet & relaxed vibe. The room was large, private bath - very clean and nicely done. Bed was comfortable. Complimentary drinks & snacks. The courtyard with lounge chairs and pool areas are clean and well maintained. What we didn’t like (we are being picky): The lobby was small and kind of dark. There were dying orchid plants on the shelf. We arrived on a Wednesday, the pool & hot tub was not cleaned - a lot of flowers & leaves dropped from……

“11am checkout on a Sunday was just too early. Why do that to your customers? As if a big slug of new guests are flowing into a men’s clothing optional resort on a Sunday evening! They gave us a grace extra :30 but made it seem like they just wanted to cheap out and send their cleaning crew home early. Otherwise it was a really cute place and the staff was nice. ”

“Charm of the old movie colony. Many room price point options. Grounds are cozy with mature citrus and palms. Excellent restaurant. Adults only adds to the peace adn relaxation. Get service staff. ”

“A beautiful spot with lush gardens, including mature trees of fig, olive. And citrus. Birds and hummingbirds everywhere. Perfect room- I stayed in a large studio. I used the fireplace on the first 2 nights, and my Own private patio covered in climbing vines (jasmine?)”

“Charming boutique property. Intimate and laid out for easily meeting other guests. It was sad their restaurant was closed with no open date known. But they provided a discount at one of their other restaurants. I would return to this hotel again. I would fall first to see if the restaurant is open. ”
