“Beautiful place with interesting architectural updates such as the old elevator repurposed as a walk in closet in the master bedroom. Very well stocked with everything you would need in the kitchen and bathrooms. Pretty paintings and local artists’ work. The reason for the 4 star rating on description was the stairs. They are steep and there are a lot of them. A handicapped person would not be able to access the unit. I have a bad hip and it was very difficult for me to climb them. The stairwell……

“We had a great stay at the Loft on Morris. It was clean and comfortable and you can't beat the location. The hosts communicated clearly and the place was well put together. Perfect for a city getaway. We recommend brunch at The Essential in the same building. All around good experience.”

“This apartment is a bright, fun downtown spot with amazingly comfy mattresses, gorgeous hardwoods & exposed brick. We were so excited to book it based on the lpcation, decor & renovated, historical architecture, & it was close to all the adventures we wanted to enjoy Birmingham! Would definitely book again! For those with sensory needs: Microfiber towels were an experience, & the shops downstairs add vibrance to the space. ”

“Host never responded at all. Had to book a last min hotel in a town where a festival was going on so options were limited. ”

“Parking was a little challenging and the elevator buttons are worn down so it’s hard to put in your code to activate the elevator, but other than that the place was fantastic! Parking and elevator cannot be controlled by the owner but the apartment was clean, roomy, stylish and had everything we needed! ”

“My daughter did an internship for 8 weeks and stayed here. I couldn’t have asked for a better place. Host was always available quickly when I had a question. Location was great as it looked over a golf course. It was a safe area on a dead end street so no traffic other than the ones living there. Only one hiccup wherein the temperatures got down into the teens one week and the heat semi went out. Host was quickly repairing it and even brought a space heater for added warmth. My daughter was so……

“We came to Birmingham for the women’s college basketball sweet sixteen games. We were within just a few miles of the BJCC and the downtown area. The unit was beautiful and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked and there were lots of ‘extras’ throughout the house. Plenty of toiletries and towels. The owners left water and snacks as well. The beds were so comfortable and had heated mattress covers. If we come back to Birmingham we would stay here again. Highly recommended!”
