“Excellent youth hostel with really friendly staff - Thomas and Freya were brilliant! Great amenities: Comfortable rooms and really clean showers and toilets. Nice cosy lounge, Great kitchen and dining area. Laundry facilities (£5) and great drying room. Snacks and drinks for sale. Parking and a few seating areas outside. Stunning location. Pub about 20 minutes walk away. Would definitely stay there again!”
“The glamping pods were beautiful and decently sized. The comunal toilet and shower area was kept clean and tidy. Over all it was a lovely experience. Only concern was that my 4 year old had to be restrained at all times either inside the pod, in pushchairs or in reigns as the edge of the land at entry to our pod was a steep slope, ideally this could be fenced off. When we first arrived, as a family, i mentioned to my mum that this place would be a lovely romantic getaway for a weekend however……
“Although this property is small, the people running it are big hearted.
We were driving from Isle of Skye on a very stormy day when we received message from Mark and Louisa to inform us that we could checkin earlier as they did not want us to be waiting in the storm until checkin time. We were quite touched by the gesture.
The free parking was very convenient. The room was clean and well decorated. The toilet + shower were modern and comfortable.
Excellent breakfast with homemade everything.……
“Alan was very welcoming and provided useful information on local restaurants, travel tips in the area and around Scotland. My daughters and I felt safe staying at that location. The property was very clean. We had a mini fridge in our room, hair dryer. Bathroom was very modern. There are all amenities on site. Beautiful grounds. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back.”
“Cute inn across the bay from Ft. William. Ferry was easy / convenient. Inn is old but well cared for. Dinner and drinks were excellent. Inn Keeper and crew were amazing. Our 2 nights felt like a special treat!”
“The problem during our stay is the noise coming from the water tap of the shower, every time you turn on the water will have a very high pitch loud sound, not only from our bath room but also from the room next to you. The sound proof between rooms are also bad, you can easily hear people speaking in their room next to you.”
“I stayed for two nights when booked on the Jacobite Train. One of the best guest houses I have ever stayed in. I was on my own so stayed in the single room - small but very comfortable and very quiet. The choice for the inclusive breakfast was huge and delicious - it set me up for the day. The view from the dining room is spectacular, especially from the table they gave me, which one member of staff told me was the "naughty corner". Carmen, Phil and the staff were great, friendly, full of……
“In general, it is good enough for travellers. City view with nearby restaurants. Saw a few young staff while checking in. Look like a family-run business. The room is large with a comfortable bed. Breakfast is a set rather than a buffet. ”
“After staying at this hotel, I developed many red itchy bumps on my skin, which makes me feel that the cleanliness of the room was not up to standard. I was very uncomfortable during my stay.
In addition, I don’t think the pricing was fair. The listing stated that the charge for each dog should be £10 per night, but I was charged £20 per dog.”
