“We loved the view from the deck and the outdoor kitchen on the deck. The view was amazing as was the sunrise's. We spent our first day just relaxing on the property and cooking at the cottage. Jim and Kim have created a fantastic Hawaiian getaway with lovely art.”

She provided us with items if we were missing anything in the suite and welcomed us to use the ice and filtered water from her outdoor fridge. We were delighted with the attractive and delicious fruit tray that was on the table when we arrived. We would highly recommend a stay at The Royal Palms. ”

“This property strikes a rare balance: reasonably priced, well-located, and thoughtfully maintained without excess or pretense.The views are lush, the space immaculately clean, and the hosts both warm and unobtrusive. Practical touches such as on-site laundry, overhead fans, and a Sleep Number bed (more curiosity than necessity) made for an easy stay. Nighttime breezes kept the temperature comfortable.We had no issues with bugs — just a few charming geckos lingering outside. The only real misstep……

“What a beautiful location and farm. So peaceful and a fantastic place to decompress. Matter of fact we spent a very enjoyable day on the lanai. The cottage had all the amenities we needed, a real kitchen, the bed was very comfortable, there’s a washer and dryer there, as well as snorkeling and beach gear available for use! We highly recommend this place and would stay again 3 easy check in/out, nice hosts. Farm is about 30 minutes from Hilo.”
