If you want a home away from the tourists you are right. Awaiting luxury and quietness, go in a hotel. It’s a normal neighborhood with chicken, dogs and everything else. “The property is surrounded by farms, is a little farm itself with many fruit trees. Bird song will wake you and frog chirps will put you to bed. There is a pool, however most of it is very deep (》8ft) so not suitable for very young children unless you bring your own flotation devices or will be within arms reach of your child who is learning to swim. The location itself is about 15 minutes outside Hilo, and is lovely, but there are no stores immediately nearby so if you plan on cooking or……

“The moment we stepped into the house, we were amazed by the beautiful views of the river, falls, and lush foliage. The house is such a wonderful place to be that two family members decided to skip one of the planned activities so that they could spend more time enjoying the house and its views. Each of the bedrooms is nice and the kitchen is well-appointed. The information folder we were given about the house, restaurant recommendations, etc. was very helpful. “Our family of 4 really enjoyed staying here! The property is in a nice, safe neighborhood with a coded security gate and is very well kept. We enjoyed comfortable sleeping arrangements, plush towels, a well-supplied kitchen (tools/small appliances/dishes/spices), washer/dryer with detergent, filtered drinking water, A/C and ceiling fans to keep comfortably cool, Wifi, streaming services and what came in really handy was a cooler with ice packs for our daily excursions around the area. “Check in process was extremely easy, room was very cute and clean. Quiet neighborhood with the exception of the frogs at night haha. Great area and was close to everything. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I will say that I did not notice the bathroom is kind of open air, so just a heads up for others that may not be fully comfortable with that.”
