“Beautiful home exactly as described on VRBO. Excellent communication with the host. Clean, well stocked and super comfortable. Can’t beat the view and sitting on the lanai watching the surfers and the occasional cruise ship come in. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to stay here again. ”

“This was a great older property that has been renovated and is thoughtfully curated. Everything was great with the property. Our only issue with this VRBO was the location and the neighbourhood. There was a barking dog across the street which started barking both mornings between 6:30AM and 7AM, followed by people gathering out front of the adjacent property. “Beautiful oceanfront site. Chad and Jennifer are thoughtful, informative and welcoming. 20 minutes north of Hilo but worth the drive. Large comfortable suite , supplied with everything for a luxe stay. Lap pool, special gardens and gorgeous viewpoints. Light but yummy breakfast; perfect to start the day.I will book again and recommend friends for this special spot.”

“This property has an excellent location! After a busy day of adventures it is a wonderful quiet location. The owners have chickens and fruit trees. There were a dozen eggs waiting for us when we arrived and we picked oranges and limes! The owners were awesome and the property is beautiful! ”

“The property was amazing and much more spacious than the pictures conveyed. The home was well stocked with cooking, pool and general living needs. With three generations sharing the home we found we had plenty of room to spread and give the youngest members of the family room to run. “We had an amazing stay at this spacious two-story, five-bedroom house in the Panaewa area of Hilo. The home was incredibly roomy, with plenty of space for our group, and we appreciated all the modern appliances and thoughtful amenities provided. The quiet neighborhood made it a perfect place to relax, and the location was excellent—close to local businesses, fantastic restaurants, and easy access to outdoor activities. This rental truly exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend it……

If you want a home away from the tourists you are right. Awaiting luxury and quietness, go in a hotel. It’s a normal neighborhood with chicken, dogs and everything else.
