“The condo was exactly how it is advertised. Clean, comfortable, top of the line appliances, and away from the hustle and bustle of Merrie Monarch Activities but centrally located so you could participate and or attend any one of the many craft fairs. We loved it! If there is anything I could suggest it is to put up a full-body mirror. After all the shopping that takes place during MM week it would be nice to try on and see the clothes you purchased just in case you need to make exchanges. ”

“I was in Hilo for a month for work and stayed at Maggie's place. It was perfect for me in all ways - fantastic location, nice complex, very clean, lovely lanai, close to a beautiful park for walks/jogs. Various places to eat or get groceries that are within a 10 min walk or a couple of mins drive. Maggie was an exceptional host, very quick to respond and very kind to me on my arrival after a 25h trip. I absolutely loved my stay and if I am lucky enough to return to Hilo for work then I would……

“The apartment was more than we could have wished for, incredibly spacious, inviting, well equipped with everything, and hosted by a lovely Ingrid and her family. Centrally located near all roads to explore the island or a short trip to the best snorkeling spots. We ended up having to recouperate from an unexpected medical issue and it was the most comfortable environment for healing. We highly recommend this gem and we will be back. ”

“We were happy to find a place to stay in Hilo during Merrie Monarch because our trip came up late to help at an event. The loft is conveniently located, well kept and stocked with everything one could need. There were even extra cords for phones and a night light. Beds were comfortable. Fans in both rooms kept us cool at night. Important (we think) for folks renting this loft. The floors are uneven which was a bit of a challenge and the door to the entrance to the bath is small for larger……
