“This was a great, affordable location to stay while we explored Hilo and the surrounding area. It was clean and well taken care of. Our two boys used cots in the living room and we were able to sleep 4 without an issue. Great balcony for morning coffee and minutes away from many attractions.Two small challenges - it was not easy to find the correct parking lot in the dark and when we arrived late the AC wasn't on and it was a hot night, but that was a minor inconvenience.”

“Our stay was centered around enjoying Merrie Monarch and all the activities surrounding it, and this property was perfect. Charming, clean and convenient, we were able to take a 10-15 minute walk across the park to the stadium. Everything we needed was accessible vis a short walk or drive ”

“Very nice condo and location is great. You can walk out the back and you are at Carl Smith beach park. Condo looks exactly like pictures. Host provided lots of information about places to eat and visit.”

“Six friends came to Hilo for Merrie Monarch. We could easily walk to the festival sites and avoid difficult-to-find parking. The condo was comfortable and clean with great views of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa. Our host Jenny was very communicative. We would stay there again. ”

“I stayed 6 nights in the penthouse. Such incredible views, the lanai & pool were my fave places to enjoy on property. Swimming with turtles at Carlsmith & Richardson were highlights. The condo was well equipped with extras, such as shampoo, sunscreen, condiments & spices. I never lacked for anything. The communication with Damir was excellent and he was incredibly responsive to my texts.For the price, this stay is beyond expectations! If renters plan to explore this side of the island, Hamakua……

“We enjoyed our stay here. The place was a great stay for 4 of us. Very clean!! Parking spot up front is awesome. There is not an ocean view from patio, only a view of the right side of the pool and garden. Right bedroom has the ocean view. However, you are right on Carlsmith beach when you walk outside. The upstairs neighbors were very, very noisy, banging and slamming on the ceiling throughout all hours of the day and night, but that is not in the hands of the owner. No AC as the listing……
