“The river cottage was close to family we were visiting in Destrehan. 4 of us stayed including my infant nephew. Check in info was provided early the day of our arrival and was so easy. There was everything you could need including snacks, laundry and a pack’n play for my nephew. The place is so put together and just adorable. The beds were so comfortable! “The heat in the home was off when we arrived late on a very cold (34 Fahrenheit) night, the space heaters provided were insufficient and slow to bring the temperature up. The instructions list loading the dishwasher, but we never found one. They also list the place as sleeping 6 (and do have 3 large beds), but only provided 4 bath towels, 4 washcloths, and one bath mat. We were in town to celebrate my Uncle's 90th birthday and this allowed us to be "nearby" to him and to downtown and to all we needed for the long weekend.
