“Our overnight stay with our small dog at the Galloping Getaway was such a pleasant surprise. Having just completed a long day's drive, the beauty and quiet of the property was so refreshing. We found the apartment pristine in appearance, with many thoughtful items added to make us feel right at home. Even though the apartment was located below the owner's residence, it was very quiet and the furnishings including the bed, were very comfortable. Tammie was very helpful in communicating with us……

“Everything was fine. Easy access into the house. We were greeted by Mike a little later and enjoyed his company and conversation. He was immediately available by cell to answer questions. Accommodations were just what we needed for our short family and friends visit. ”

“Very nice room with a clean modern look. Bed was nice and comfortable. Has hot plate, fridge/freezer, microwave and Keurig with plenty of coffee pods. Perfect size room for a single person or couple. Will be back soon.”

“We were lucky to find this perfectly located place! Very clean, well-stocked with coffee in the nice kitchen, good bed. If it had reading lamps by the bed and the sofa, and more hooks/rods in the bathroom for towels, it would have been perfection. I would stay there again.”

“A great little restaurant is within walking distance, and there are lots of little shops nearby. The photos don't do the place justice. It is lovely. It is close to Wilson College and churches. I would definitely stay there again. It was quiet, and I appreciated that they had a hair dryer and an iron, which I forgot. ”
