“It was a great house for our family on nice property with a Mountain View in back deck . Quiet and peaceful. We hope to stay again next year too”

“It’s a great place for a quick stay. Easy to get into. The steps to get into the main area are a little tough especially without a way to block them off such as a baby gate. Beds were soft, well stocked kitchen for easy use of items, relatively clean, very nice having laundry on site as well. Owners were very responsive and easy to communicate with.”

“Cute house with a lot of character. Sat on the front porch and watched everybody go to the ice cream shop. Perfect place to be to get to all of the attractions. The Tavern in town is a great place to eat with a nice atmosphere. House was clean and organized. The only thing I could recommend would be that they have a Keurig in the kitchen”

“Overall, we loved our stay at this little cabin. It was perfect for our needs. There were four of us and our dog. It is a rustic cabin in the woods that has a great stream running behind it. The owner was great to deal with-we had a small problem with water pressure and he came right away to take care of it. After that, everything went well!”

“We loved our walks in the afternoon and saw bald eagles. We wish there was a bit bigger place to fish from, but still enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. So many stairs may be a challenge for elderly guests or people with mobility limitations, but we appreciated the exercise going in and out. We had a wonderful weekend, many thanks!”

“My boyfriend, dog, and I stayed at GSS this last weekend. The apartment is spotless, everything well marked and well thought out. Tammy was lovely, and responded quickly to all our questions. We greatly enjoyed walking around the property with our dog, checking out the horses and chickens and we caught a glimpse of a barn cat. The property is 15 min away from downtown Hagerstown and we had some very good food there. Also super close to a variety of good hiking spots. I would certainly return and……

“Lovely spot adjacent to an area winery. Nice open views of open fields. Walking access to battlefield trails. Not far to explore Harper's Ferry,. Sheperdstown close by for delicious dinner out. A couple of breweries added to the end of hike experience. Three bedrooms gave us room to stretch out (I used one for sewing while it rained!). Kitchen well appointed. A terrific place to stay.”
