“Cute house with a lot of character. Sat on the front porch and watched everybody go to the ice cream shop. Perfect place to be to get to all of the attractions. The Tavern in town is a great place to eat with a nice atmosphere. House was clean and organized. The only thing I could recommend would be that they have a Keurig in the kitchen”

“We stayed here while in town for a wedding. We had 13 adults and one child. This is such a neat old house with so many cool features. We had a fun time exploring the house and admiring the unique features like the Jefferson doors to the porches, the old coal dump, and all the super cool antiques in the home. All of the bedrooms have a sink in them which was really awesome and helpful for when we were all getting ready at the same time. Our only feedback is that the pillows were a little hard and……

“My husband and I have family in WV right across the MD/WV state line and we really wanted to come home to celebrate the holiday with our families and still be able to have our fur baby (our 2 yr old shepherd mix) with us! This was the perfect place for us to do exactly that. This is a great location with access to so much in a short distance. Thank you and we certainly look forward to being back! ”

“It was such a treat to stay in this unique old house. The basement is built right into the rock hill! The house is comfortable and convenient even though it has seen so many years. The hosts did a great job decorating and taking care of it. We would love to come back on a warmer weekend and enjoy the yard. ”

“Very clean, well appointed home, was a great place to stay for a few days while we explored the area. Nice outdoor space to relax and the board games and arcade game were fun for the kids. ”

“Please add a toaster and some wine glasses! Would benefit from more bath towels (used a beach towel for one guest) and a bedside table/lamp in the king bedroom and single bedroom (had to turn off overhead light by door and then make way in the dark to the bed). Property met our needs, and the kitchen was well-stocked (except for no toaster!).”
