“Place worked well for what we needed. ”

“First time VRBO customer. Process for booking was easy, description of property was accurate. Communication with host was superb. Any issues we had were quickly taken care of. It was as you would expect a cabin to be: minimalistic. All flatware, cooking and BBQ utensils, pot, pan and baking sheet were provided. Pots are sized for cabins. If you intend to cook large group meals bring your own. Very close to water, kayaks & life vests available. Paddle boat available for use. ”

“Cottage is awesome, clean and with all the amenities you could possibly need. We stayed for two nights for a quick getaway for my husbands birthday and visited Silver Lake Sand Dunes (approx 40 mins away) and used the rowboat to enjoy Big Star Lake and do some fishing. Beautiful view, as advertised and even better in person! Looking forward to a return trip :)”

“The Eagles Nest at the Blue Heron Resort on Diamond Lake is not for everyone but we loved it. I say not for everybody in part because you need to take a series of stairs including nearly 30 steps to reach the cabin from the parking space provided. While we (both in our 70's) didn't have a problem, others may well prefer few stairs. The cabin is also not fancy or modern and has a few quirks including a noticeable slant towards the lake. “This cabin is so cool inside! The owners really put a lot of work into making this it have an authentic cabin/outdoorsy feel. The hot tub with Bluetooth speakers is an added bonus! They even had emergency swim suits and pjs in the kids dresser just incase you forgot them or needed an extra pair. Very clean and great movies!selectoselection!cgrwat”

“We flew in from out of state to visit family we haven’t seen in years. We had a wonderful time. This home provided the perfect place to reconnect with family. It was so clean and beautiful! Very well equipped kitchen, nothing missing at all. Right next to the lake. Beautifully decorated. Comfy beds. We enjoyed the beautiful view. Plenty of space for everyone. Loved it!”
