“This is an awesome house and beautiful place for a short trip away from home and to get family or friends together. Plenty of space for adults and kids and always so clean and accommodations. This was our 2nd year staying in the house and we all had such a great time! Looking forward to another family stay next year!”

“This is a fantastic place for a family getaway! The house is great, well appointed, and very well kept. The view overlooking the Cedar River is mesmerizing with lots of wildlife and gorgeous sunsets. Cedar Falls is about five minutes away with lots of great shops and a variety of places to eat. ”

“This property was perfect for bringing pets. House was good-sized for two adults/two dogs. Outside gate latch was very challenging to operate & we couldn’t open inside sliding glass door. That would’ve improved our convenience. However, we used the attached garage doors to let them in/out. Dogs loved the fenced-in, big back yard, overlooking Liberty Creek. We would consider staying here again, if/when Waterloo is a future destination, while with our dogs. An ionizer might be a better……

“What a peaceful, tranquil setting on the Shell Rock River. We had a family gathering - 3 brothers and their wives - near where we fished with our Dad and Grandfather 60 to 65 years ago and spent the week sharing positive memories! Thank you for sharing the River House with us.”

“Pleasant & positive experience! I liked how the house was decorated. Bath towels, bedding provided.Many items available for our use including a coffee maker, toaster, iron & ironing board. Attached garage available for 2 vehicle especially nice for rain or Iowa's Winter weather. Myself, my adult children and their significant other...found this home delightful & convenient location for our stay while we were in the area for a wedding, at Timber Edge. Literally 2 minute drive away ”
