“We were well supported by our hosts especially when the power went off due to a storm for a few hours. The cottage was comfortable and clean - a few minor maintenance matters require attention noting the age of the cottage. This did not impact our enjoyment of the cottage. Hosts were responsive and helpful.”

“Gumnut cottage is a great self contained unit with everything you need. Ideal for an extended stay, the hosts were really welcoming, its secluded and comfortable, had a lovely pool we could use whenever we wanted and the kids loved Rusty! ”

“We enjoyed a couple of nights stay in this very comfortable and cosy cottage. Our hosts were fabulous in communicating clearly and available if needed. The surrounding area was lovely and peaceful - it was so nice to be just out of a city, and still close to many amenities. Pictures online are an excellent representation of the cottage. Would definitely recommend ”

“The property was great! Comfortable and clean. The only down side was the map to get there was inaccurate. After a long travel day to get there this was very frustrating. Also lack of light bulbs working was also average. Range hood, lamps,and some ceiling light, either missing or not working. Overall though we had a great time and would stay again.”

“Setting is great - We loved the grounds and wildlife. The accommodation is well furnished and comfortable. However, because we booked late on the same day as arrival they were not expecting us. After a long drive we were stranded at the accommodation with a message on a post saying dial this number for reception. When we rang the number there was no reply. Eventually we found the caretakers at the property, who let us into the accommodation. They also wanted to go through messages on my……
