“Very convenient to go to city centre, Very nice Breakfast. Space & comfortable room . Just the bath tub & Wash Basin were not draining as fast as usually do , perhasp it's clogging.... We would like to live in again for next trip . ”

“There is no phone reception at the lodges and no wifi either. It is not expensive to install wifi in 2023. To have a property with no phone signal or wifi in the rooms is unacceptable today. You can get wifi in the main building, but that is little use if you aren't staying there. The toilet in my bathroom was so close to the sink you couldn't actually sit on the toilet. Ceiling in the shower was so low I couldn't stand up in there. Bed was very uncomfortable. Generally a tired property that……

“It is comfortable, older hotel. Quirky even. Everyone very helpful, nothing a bother. Bedding and towels excellent quality. Breakfast was freshly cooked, and superb. Plenty of choices. Service excellent. Dinner was fabulous, in presentation and taste, again cooked to order. A busy evening function, but residents came first. Will definitely stay again.”

“Second time visit for an overnight stay in an area we used to live in. The standard rooms are large, clean, well furnished and have a big modern bathroom. Public rooms were all clean, well decorated and furnished. Didn't use Bistro but the breakfast choice was good and plentiful. Great location for touring the Dales.”

“We stayed here as a couple but also as part of a larger family group, including my niece and nephew (12 and 8 respectively). Our room was the Illingworth room. It was huge, facing out across the road to the lovely old church. Road noise was minimal and the bed extremely comfy with good pillows which were not too soft, perfect for us. We slept well. En suite was well laid out and tastefully decorated. A few hangers were on a rail for our clothes and a hairdryer, iron and ironing board were also……
