“The property was functional and mostly clean. The grill was not clean and the heating filters need to be replaced, but the place was well equipped and worked well as a base for our day trips. It lacks a lot of personal touches and small conveniences (e.g., no facial tissues, one half roll of paper towels, towels and linens were stained); comes off as a rental property, not someone's home, but that is how it is used and it works.”

“We stayed at Brad and Megan’s beautiful cabin for our wedding weekend and it was the absolute most perfect experience. The house is beautiful and in a great location, and the hosts (+ Dana) were very easy to communicate with. Almanor is a special place to us and our families and we definitely hope to stay here again! 10/10!!”

As hosts, communication was clear, timely and helpful when I initially had issues w the VRBO app, Allyn hopped on to help make sure it got situated. Check in process was a breeze, the house itself is as beautiful as the pictures. Bonus points because it included baby proofing items, and a high chair. A family member left some items by accident and before she realized where it was, Allyn had already reached……

Only a few blocks from the beach and the hosts made sure we knew activities going on in the community. We felt very welcome and it was so peaceful and beautiful. “There were several large fires that were closing roads and creating so much smoke that we were not able to stay in the home. There should be more photos of the area that the home is in. We had friends drive by and the homes next to this one and the neighborhood were less than desirable.”
