“This property has been skillfully and thoughtfully updated. Window unit AC in every room. Plenty of GFC outlets. Everything you need in the small and functional kitchen. Beautiful bathroom. One bedroom is a quiet dark cave. One is gorgeous and sunny. Surprisingly quiet for its location. There are city noises and that are to be expected, but the AC drowned them out. The Subway is about 30 steps away and you can get anywhere in less than 30 minutes! Here's the reason I can't give it five stars……

“This property was in a fabulous location. Apartment was very clean and the host was responsive. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioners in the rooms were very appreciated. We would have loved an extra hand towel or dish towel for the kitchen. Unfortunately, we ended up with a plumbing problem on our last day so we were unable to use the bathroom sink or shower which put a slight damper on an otherwise wonderful experience. ”

“The property was very clean and accomodating for my husband myself and my 2 daughters 5 and 6 yrs old. We were able to put them to bed in the back bedroom with their own tv and stay up ourselves with the complementary bottle of wine left for us! What a treat. “The apartment was a charming two-bedroom unit typical of the Upper West Side in New York. Its location was conveniently close to all the attractions we intended to visit, and the subway station was just three blocks away, providing easy access to Brooklyn, Princeton, and the rest of the boroughs. “Well, for those who book on VRBO and end up with NYCShortStays you should know you will not get your check in details until about 45 minutes before your check-in time. They also charge very high fees if you want an early check-in time. It was 229 to check-in two hours before our scheduled time.
