“Everything is perfect. The reception welcome us and show the hotel amenities around and the the gentleman is so nice while I was checking out The breakfast time is a bit crowds because of the Oceanside tables but we sit there two days (staff there will try to arrange those tables for you) and the food is nice with many choices. “We stayed in this hotel for 4 days. It's located at the most crowded square of Praia do Carvoeiro, just by the beach, very convenient. The staff was nice and the room was okay. “This was one of our favorite places that we stayed in Portugal. Placid Village was located in a quiet area, but only a 15 minute walk to the restaurants and beaches in town. “Loved the red wine! Nice touch after a long day of travel. ”

“Wonderful with 1 small exception. We drank 2 cups of coffee in our suite, using 2 pods. They were not replaced the next day even after requesting at the front desk. On third day housekeeping said we should ask the restaurant and the front desk said we would have to pay for pods. Upon checkout, we were told they should have been replaced daily. Two coffee pods total for a 3 night stay! Ridiculous. Small issue, but left a bad impression.”
