“Booked the room in February. After an 80 bicycle ride in mixed weather conditions, i was delighted to arrive at the hotel. Not delighted to find it locked. Tourist centre was kind enough to contact the owner that said that it was closed for renovations. Some kind of notice would be expected.”

“The hotel was spotlessly clean and the room was nice, but perhaps a little dated. There was no shower cubicle but a shower attachment over the bath which was tricky to position and did not appear to be thermostatically controlled so the water temp varied. This however was a minor inconvenience. The staff were lovely. The views from the room over the town and up to the hilltop church were nice. “Dificilmente encontraremos uma estadia melhor do que esta! Eu e o meu noivo nos hospedamos com os nossos dois cães, e fomos muitíssimo bem recebidos desde o princípio. O serviço do staff foi excelente, a simpatia de todos nos cativou, toda a paisagem oferece ainda mais encanto ao hotel, e o interior dos quartos é de tirar o fôlego! “The property was gorgeous and well-appointed. Margarida was a very friendly hostess. The room was very large and very quiet. It looked out into a large yard that had beautiful gardens and pool area. Our breakfast was extensive and generous. A great stay for off the beaten path-very relaxing. In a very nice town.”
