“Nice little cabin secluded quiet and close to town easy to find 100% would rent again.”

“The house was accommodating for our group of 8, and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep and retreat. The kitchen, dining and living areas were great gathering areas, as were the fire pit and sprawling back deck. We saw deer every day. It was very close to the Mountain Harbor Marina and Lodge, and it met all of our varying needs. The owners were very responsive and helpful.”

“This is a real nice home that served as a great location for our rock hounding and hiking in the Mt Ida area. The host helped us greatly with check in, and some local suggestions. We were very pleased with our four night stay and give this great little house and host a great recommendation.”

“The VRBO is a little worn, but does not take away from the pleasant experience. The beds are comfortable. The host is Awesome!!! They made a point of coming out and getting the outside water turned on for us so we could wash the crystals my family had been digging. We had a power outage on our last night, and the host (LISA) was very accommodating and let us check out a little late without issue. All in all, we would be more than willing to stay in her VRBO again. Thanks Lisa for the great……

“The cabin was nice, located down a 2 mile dirt road. There are a few camp sites located on the property behind the cabin and the path that lead to them run a small dirt road a few feet from the cabin driveway and we were not aware of that prior to check in. There is a small creek behind the cabin that is able deep and once you cross that you can follow the path to the camp sites behind the cabin that are situated on the river. “We came to the area to walleye fish. Had a guided fishing trip, Jeff Larch Pro Fishing, and stayed here. The bed was super comfy, the place was so clean. I loved all of the old timey stuff in the house. We plan on staying again and bringing our children. We caught a couple of bass in the pond (use a frog lure if it’s green!) and enjoyed sitting outside in the carport just chatting. Hundred percent would recommend!!”

“Inside this rental house was totally awesome. Clean, fresh look. Wish my house looked this good on the inside. Soooo much better than motel. Just needs to upgrade on bedding pillows. Some would want a tv in bedroom, however, we were not used to that, so the big tv in living area was plenty. We didn’t spend much time outside except for some strolls. Could have been a little better upkeep on outdoor areas. The breezeway is awesome. Just needs lots of seating and visiting/ bird watching……

“The property is very well taken care of and exactly as described. The weekend we were there, tornadoes were in the vicinity, and the owners made sure we had a safe place to go. They went above and beyond. The trail to the creek in the back is beautiful! We will definitely be back!”

“This was exactly what we needed. All activities are within an hour. Great hiking and trails in the complex. Amazing vistas close by. We'd love to come back when it's warmer to check out the lake more. Host, Sami, was so helpful and communicative. The property itself was perfectly situated, clean, and spacious. It was maybe a little too much room for our family, but being able to spread out after driving was nice too. If you're hoping to stay in the Lake Ouachita area, this is an amazing place to……
