“It was a cozy getaway. The location was excellent. Steps from beautiful lakeMichigan the view was incredible. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard and fresh air. The outdoor patio area with the hot tub was an amazing place to take in the stars at night. The food was great next door. Jerry was an accommodating host making sure we had everything we needed for our stay.”

The host was amazing and responded to our last minute request to stay and also made arrangements for parking our trucks and trailers nearby in a secure area. “We rented this cabin for a 4 day weekend so we could quickly get to Escanaba for my 7 year old to play hockey. It was perfect for our family of 4. We also thought it would be cool to access Little Bay De Noc easily for ice fishing. It was absolutely perfect for this. We caught walleye and perch just out front on the 2nd reef. We would definitely stay again and will be recommending our friends with small family’s as well. ”

“Had a great time at this property. We had a very seamless check in. Owners are very thoughtful, having everything in the house that you could need while there. They were very quick to respond to texts while there when we tripped a circuit breaker. Property is not too far from Escanaba for picking up necessities. Many cities within an hour drive to do some sightseeing and activities. Would definitely stay here again if we’re ever in that area in the future. ”

“Overall it was a great stay. We thought the inside of the cabin was actually cuter in person. It was a little disappointing how close the neighbors were considering the remoteness of the property but it was fine. Our 2 dogs LOVED playing in the shallow bay. There were some broken items (outdoor chair, shower door, missing towel bar, etc.) but nothing we couldn't maneuver around. Sent a list of these items to the property manager so they could be repaired for the next guests. Beds were very……

“I booked the house for the Marji Gesick mountain bike race. I had five friends travel with me as a support crew. The house was excellent for our needs. Plenty of beds and 1.5 bathrooms. A well stocked and large kitchen and plenty of living space. Outdoors was a nice grill, screened in house on the lake and a canoe. I caught a pike right off the dock Friday! There was even a garage to store our bikes in overnight. It was a little challenging to find at first but not a big deal. Greqt place for……

“Directions were clear, getting into house was easy. Pleasantly surprised by 3 full bathrooms. Ladders on bunk beds a little difficult but otherwise a great house. ”

I.e., ""stove top" means range top, no oven; "TV" means tv and VCR, no cable or broadcast access. (We did enjoy some of the old VHS and DVDs provided). Better directions to house would have helped especially after dark. We'd rent this location again.”

“We came for a lityle getaway to relax and wind down between a busy summer and the start of our daughter's senior year. We couldn't have found a more perfect spot. Both cottages were just as described and the seperate bunkhouse was perfect for the teenagers to have their own space. The little deck over looking the river was the perfect spot to sit with a glass of wine and abook. Deb was very communicative and checked in to be sure we had everything we needed.
