“My sister, brother-in-law and I stayed at the Shell House for Thanksgiving this year but also to have a small memorial for my mom who passed away in August. It was the perfect place to be together and remember her and celebrate her favorite place be, the MS Gulf Coast, where she grew up. The place has everything and even though the setting is perfect, and the decor is just beautiful, it has a feeling of "home" and that is what we miss the most about our mama. “The house was exactly as described, cute, clean, in a perfect area and with everything we needed. We had our small Chihuahua with us so it being pet friendly was a big part of our decision to stay. The manager immediately answered any messages I sent. I’m curious about the large two exit signs and emergency lighting that glowed green at night. It could not have been in a better area for us to be able to walk everywhere and feel safe in walking back and coming in at night. We’ll be back!”
