“We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house itself was very nice—clean, thoughtfully decorated, and recently updated with a modern feel throughout. The layout made it easy to relax and settle in, and everything was well-maintained.The kitchen area was functional and stylish, but it could benefit from a few more essentials like a toaster or stovetop for simple meal prep. “There were Christmas lights on the porch that we were unable to find a way to use. The lights inside had really weird placements (ex: back light in utility room). Living room was incredibly dark. Backyard was disappointing because the back area was overgrown. It might be helpful to put light instructions in the welcome book. Never been to a rental and asked to strip beds.”

Communication with the owner was exceptional, as responses were quick. If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay on the bayou and away from the hectic pace of the city, this is a great place to book for a family. We saw wildlife all around the yard and water. “Needed a room to stay overnight for a fishing tournament. This room was perfect. The way they are made is unique! It’s the comfort of a condo and hotel in one!! Loved the cafe! Didn’t have time to use the bikes but definitely worth a try! Perfect location. The only complaint I would have is the air conditioning system doesn’t keep the whole room comfortable. ”
