“I was so excited to find this home to stay in during a family holiday weekend. My sister lives right around the corner so I was familiar with the rural setting and thrilled that there was a home so close to her rather than having to stay in Decatur. One amenity that we didn’t use but will keep in mind for future visits is that this home is handicap friendly with the exception of a downstairs shower. The first level is all floor, no bumps or awkward transitions and there is a small half bath……

“Very nice property with great amenities and plenty of space. Would be 5 stars but for the fact there was no shampoo, conditioner or body wash in any of the bathrooms, which was an odd miss given how well stocked the house was otherwise. ”

“This was a wonderful place to stay for three generations of my family. Kids had things to do all day long, adults could hang out, and easy for the grandparents to get around because it’s a one level property. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return.”

“Home was cozy and had everything you could need. The views were beautiful and animals are friendly. The kids didn’t even miss their electronics! It was an amazing getaway for the family. One warning though don't try to walk barefoot on the grass you will get grass stickers! My husband found that out the hard way. ”

“Very nice! There is a musty smell when you come in however it is the same for the other Vrbo‘s that we secured this weekend for the rest of our family, just a byproduct of being on the lake. It goes away very quickly and the location is extremely close to a marina, a gas station, the store – even a boat launch. . The back porch is huge, perfect for a big gathering and has a TV and a bar. We had relatives that were quite a bit older, and there were very few steps, the place is very accessible.”
