“Nice little cabin in a great location close to town.”

“What a wonderful place to disconnect with city life and enjoy the beauty of nature. The amenities were also a nice touch - fire pit, hot tub, outdoor grill, tons of outdoor seating and wi-fi (great for the teens in your life). A vast property to hike on and explore. The Brazos River was a relaxing excursion that you can hike to or drive to. They offer a lot of activities on the ranch if you want to be engaged that way, but we didn't do those. “Wonderful in every way”

“Very cozy quiet cabin with a dock a few steps out the back door. Fishing was decent. Great place to get away and relax or, like us, stay at for a baseball tournament down the road. We really liked it. We’ve stayed at multiple locations around PK. This one ranks pretty high. ”

“The Overlook has great space to accomodate a group that is looking for action at the lake or throughout the northern Texas country. Plenty of bathrooms, bedrooms and storage. The place is dated and could use some sprucing up, but if that doesn't matter to you, it's an incredible value for the space.”

“It was very clean and private. The wooded area was great. We saw deer every morning and evening. It’s a short walk or drive to the private river access which was amazing! There was gunfire every afternoon, which was not great, but not sure if it was on the property or someone ”

“The property was as listed and very clean. It had everything you would need for small meals and a relaxing weekend. The Murphy style bed also doubles as the couch, bring extra pillows or blankets to help prop you up to enjoy the TV.”
