“Very peaceful getaway”

“What a wonderful place to disconnect with city life and enjoy the beauty of nature. The amenities were also a nice touch - fire pit, hot tub, outdoor grill, tons of outdoor seating and wi-fi (great for the teens in your life). A vast property to hike on and explore. The Brazos River was a relaxing excursion that you can hike to or drive to. They offer a lot of activities on the ranch if you want to be engaged that way, but we didn't do those. When you say let's get away from the hustle and……

“The Overlook has great space to accomodate a group that is looking for action at the lake or throughout the northern Texas country. Plenty of bathrooms, bedrooms and storage. The place is dated and could use some sprucing up, but if that doesn't matter to you, it's an incredible value for the space.”

“Despite the weather not being on our side, we had an amazing stay! We were lucky to catch a rare sight of bisons and got some great photos. Overall, everything was wonderful — a memorable experience!”

“I booked our cabin for my family to celebrate Thanksgiving and we had the best time! The neighbor was quiet and peaceful and we had the chance to fully unplug. The instructions were clear and I had a very attentive team who checked in with us throughout our team. The house is packed with games, cooking pans and anything you might need for a cozy weekend. Will be booking again for Christmas- can’t wait! ”
