“The "Ft Worth" (1 of 4 on property in Weatherford) cabin was great for my solo stay (would not want to share the space since the bathroom isn't actually totally separated), restful, relaxing, beautiful! My host was perfectly responsive to any question I had. Cell service was good in the area even though it has that wonderful remote feeling, the wifi in the cabin was steady, the AC worked perfectly as did the Keurig, the mini fridge with top freezer was perfect and the microwave was clean &……

The amenities were also a nice touch - fire pit, hot tub, outdoor grill, tons of outdoor seating and wi-fi (great for the teens in your life). A vast property to hike on and explore. The Brazos River was a relaxing excursion that you can hike to or drive to. They offer a lot of activities on the ranch if you want to be engaged that way, but we didn't do those. “Very cozy quiet cabin with a dock a few steps out the back door. Fishing was decent. Great place to get away and relax or, like us, stay at for a baseball tournament down the road. We really liked it. We’ve stayed at multiple locations around PK. This one ranks pretty high. ”

“The Overlook has great space to accomodate a group that is looking for action at the lake or throughout the northern Texas country. Plenty of bathrooms, bedrooms and storage. The place is dated and could use some sprucing up, but if that doesn't matter to you, it's an incredible value for the space.”
