“This cabin-like cottage is lovely. The cottage is steps away from the lake - the sounds of crashing waves is very soothing. There are train tracks near the neighborhood and the trains provide a nice soundtrack when you can hear them and were not disruptive (I think the grandkids would have loved to watch trains roll along the trestle actually). The cottage was clean. I was surprised at how spacious it was. Loads of room to crash about, for those that want/need privacy -there is space for……

“Met the owner when checking in. Friendly and very helpful. Pictures do not give this cabin justice. The cabin is spacious, but cozy. The fire barrel was a great spot to enjoy the evenings. Pretty much what is at home is provided here. Great times! Will be returning. Highly recommend.”

Not a single detail was left out and there are so many personal touches that added to the whimsy and tranquility of this beautiful place. The view of the lush green rolling hills paired with the impeccable, warm hospitality from the hosts made our stay something to remember. My only regret is that we didn’t get to stay longer.……

“We had a great time staying here for my wife’s birthday. Tons of space: huge main room with 3 fold down futons, one bedroom with a bed and a second bedroom with an additional 2 beds. Wrap around porch with picnic table is nice. Really nice covered outdoor fire area with a grill and a ton of fire wood. Barn has tons of space. ”

“We had a great stay at the cabin. It had everything we needed for a nice long weekend. The pond was well stocked and fishing was fun. Large open floor plan downstairs made hanging out very comfortable. Plenty for the kids to do and a great kitchen for cooking meals. We all agreed that the photos dont do this place justice. The property is minutes from Holiday Valley resort and other attractions, but also very quiet and secluded. The owner was helpful and communicative without being too invasive or over-prote”

“It was a cool and wet weekend near Ellicottville for what turned out to be a great day of skiing for us. This property was fully suitable for cozy evenings inside in the winter; board games, a decent pool table, Pac-Man (!), space to be together — or apart, and comfortable beds for everyone. We are definitely considering a visit during the summer to do some biking, and to enjoy the fire pit and views of nature from the deck in the back, or sit in the rocking chairs on the front porch to read a……
