“Hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. Cabin is perfectly cozy, with exactly enough to be comfortable. Phone reception was mildly decreased, which was perfect for not falling into the phone but still being somewhat connected. Nestled in the trees, just far enough from the neighboring houses. We felt safe, even when our only light came from the fire pit. We missed our birding field guide, but enjoyed the various winged visitors all the same. “This cabin-like cottage is lovely. The cottage is steps away from the lake - the sounds of crashing waves is very soothing. There are train tracks near the neighborhood and the trains provide a nice soundtrack when you can hear them and were not disruptive (I think the grandkids would have loved to watch trains roll along the trestle actually). The cottage was clean. I was surprised at how spacious it was. Loads of room to crash about, for those that want/need privacy -there is space for……

“Met the owner when checking in. Friendly and very helpful. Pictures do not give this cabin justice. The cabin is spacious, but cozy. The fire barrel was a great spot to enjoy the evenings. Pretty much what is at home is provided here. Great times! Will be returning. Highly recommend.”

Not a single detail was left out and there are so many personal touches that added to the whimsy and tranquility of this beautiful place. The view of the lush green rolling hills paired with the impeccable, warm hospitality from the hosts made our stay something to remember. My only regret is that we didn’t get to stay longer.……

“We had a great time staying here for my wife’s birthday. Tons of space: huge main room with 3 fold down futons, one bedroom with a bed and a second bedroom with an additional 2 beds. Wrap around porch with picnic table is nice. Really nice covered outdoor fire area with a grill and a ton of fire wood. Barn has tons of space. ”
