“The house is just lovely. Quiet, peaceful, comfortable and beautifully appointed. The host was invested in making us feel welcomed and well-taken care of. He suggested places to eat, walks and things to do and all were excellent. The accommodations were impeccably maintained. We slept very well. Breakfast was fresh, healthy and quite delicious. “We ended up in twin room as no doubles left…. Comfortable beds, ground floor was quiet. Ate dinner in evening in restaurant it was Indian cuisine and was so delicious. Staff lovely very knowledgeable about food and helped with choices. Breakfast was equally tasty, freshly cooked and piping hot. Would definitely like to stay here again. Thanks ”

“Great breakfast!”

“Lovely old building in centre of Callander. Easy check in at bar. Spotlessly clean bedroom with comfy bed and nice touch is complimentary bottled water and toiletries. Self serve continental breakfast was excellent with a great choice of cereals, yogurts, muffins, flapjacks and toast. Staff were all lovely and welcoming. There is a Car park less than 5 mins walk away and costs £4.50 per day from 8.45 -17.30 so 'free' after that and we walked round at 8.40 the next morning to pay for another……

“Beautiful room and food on site was lovely. It was very good value for money and in general we really enjoyed our stay. Quite noisy through the night with lorries up the High Street. It advertises limited parking - parking is extremely limited with only 2 spaces, one of which appeared to be in use by I'm assuming the owner (due to the private number plate) . However there is a free public car park a very short walk away. ”

“The room and bathroom (2 adults, 2 kids) were quite spacious and very clean. Water pressure was excellent. comfortable bed. Hands down, the thing we loved most were the two gentlemen staff/bar tenders in the main floor bar. I mentioned to the first one that I just wanted to see highland cows- he called up a friend and sent us down the street to a local farm for an up-close. The second one gave us many great tips and suggestions for our travels. We loved sitting in the spacious bar area each……

“We enjoyed our stay at the Victoria Hotel. Great location central very close to the Jahangir indian restaurant we had booked a meal at. Very clean room, comfy bed, nice shower with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. A nice trolley was in room with coffe, tea facilities and jelly beans and biscuits. Bar looked good and well stocked although we didnt have a drink there as we were going to 40th party after our meal. Its a period building and right up our street, quirky style. Defo has……
