“Borgo San Pietro is in the charming Tuscan hilltop town of Agnone. We loved being in the historic district and were able to walk everywhere. The hostess, Valentina, was so helpful and always available--she even scheduled a tour in English for us at the Marinelli Bell Foundry. The views from our room were amazing! Be prepared to walk uphill on old Roman streets, some cobblestone. The local residents were all friendly and helpful, especially the Town Hall staff helping us with geneology……

“L'host è stato gentilissimo e fin da subito ci ha saputo indirizzare con cordialità nell'appartamento, lasciandoci oltretutto ottime tip via WhatsApp su dove mangiare qualora volessimo uscire. “My husband and I spent five wonderful days at Il Giardino del Rio and enjoyed every moment. The room was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect for short walks through Castel di Sangro, or for drives through the gorgeous Parco Nazionale d’Abruzzo and its scenic towns. The best thing about the inn, however? Proprietors Davide and Enzo, and Adnan. Each one made us feel like family. We already miss them!”

“Lovely Abruzzo location overlooking Bomba. The room is private and quiet and a nice self-service kitchen. The hosts are very responsive and friendly. The features are basic but in very good condition and clean. Navigation should be during daylight and from Bomba and Zingaro. Pennadomo is a longer drive and road conditions variable. Warm in August but cools enough at night to sleep. ”
